Health CentreSUB MENU
At Port Regis, we take the health, safety and welfare of our pupils very seriously indeed.
Our well resourced Health Centre is a 24-hour facility with separate areas for boys and girls. It is run by our Senior School Nurse, Jacqui Hooley, a fully qualified, registered nurse. She is supported by School Nurse, Tracey Collis and Health Centre Assistant, Vicky Potts. Boarders who are unwell are either looked after in their own Houses or in the Health Centre.
Jacqui,Tracey or Vicky can also be seen pitchside on match days standing by to offer support in the case of injury to a player.
An NHS doctor also visits the school twice a week to see any ill children. When children need to leave the school premises for medical reasons, a taxi is booked and they are escorted to their appointment by a member of staff. The children also have access to a local dentist and optician.
