Congratulations to the six members of our swim squad who qualified for the IAPS National Swimming Finals in London on Saturday – a huge achievement with only the top 20 fastest times in each stroke making it through. It was a brilliant day and our girls are to be commended on a fantastic set of performances as follows:
U11 Girls Tabitha B - 50m butterfly, seeded 10th (36.16) and came 7th dropping -1.81 with a time of 34.35
U12 Girls Orlaith C - 50m backstroke, seeded 19th (41.45) and came 17th dropping -0.44 with a time of 41.01
U12 Girls Iris C - 50m breaststroke, seeded 20th (46.32) and came 19th adding +0.27 with a time of 46.59
U12 Girls freestyle relay (including Evie D and Olivia E), seeded 19th (1:09.21) and came 18th dropping -4.24 with a time of 1:04.97
U13 Girls Margot M - 50m breaststroke, Margot M seeded 15th (43.41) and came 12th dropping -0.84 with a time of 42.57
