It’s STEAM month at Port Regis and we are hosting lots of activities to celebrate the coming together of and cross-curricular collaboration between science, technology, engineering, art and maths. The theme this year has been ‘biomimicry’ and Mrs Nicholson presented a STEAM assembly on Wednesday about the benefits of biomimicry in engineering, science and design. She explained how we have incorporated it into our collaborative theme amongst the STEAM subjects and in our STEAM challenges throughout the year. She also presented certificates to the winners of the STEAM challenges (including Lower School pupils Winston, India, Felix and Nadia (E Form) and Arthur, Sebby and Alexia (F Form) who are not pictured). Look out for more STEAM-related fun coming soon, including the opening of our STEAM exhibition in Cunningham later today!
